Bionaire Whole-House Triple Window Fan with Adjustable Thermostat, 3 Comfort Settings and Adjustable extender screen (Model: BWF0502M)

A quiet, low-profile fan
I bought this fan because it has a fan blade design which are used in quiet fans. It is very quiet, and makes a low tone when running, versus the whine of other window fans. It's low profile allows you to see out of your window more instead of blocking the view, perfect for spring and summer. Since it is small and light, it is easy to insert and remove from the window, something that's hard to do with a bulky fan.

Notes: It is billed as a whole-house fan, but it doesn't move that quantity of air, if it did it would have to be noisy. It should be marketed instead on it's best points, quietness and low-profile. One of my new outlets seemed not to want to connect to the plug, so it looked like it was plugged in but no power was received. I blame this on my outlet rather than the fan, as it works in my other outlets. It comes with a sturdy side extension built-in, and two extra extensions to add on the other side. One extension is hidden in the foam packaging, so look for it...

Big FAN of this COOL unit
Picked one up at BJ's and have to say its very nice. Low profile and powerful. Our house doesn't get air movement so when its cool outside the house remains very hot. This fan pulled in enough air to cool a 300sq ft room quickly. Its also very quiet.

The only CON I can see is that you can't switch between exhaust and intake directions. You have to pull out the fan and switch its blowing direction. The unit does feature controls on both sides making this easy though.

Great fan, priced right, offers a 5yr warranty!

Pleasantly surprised
I just picked this up at our local BJ's on a whim.. and i have to say, i am pleasantly surprised at this little unit. its not the most powerful fan on the market by any stretch, but it moves enough air to justify its cost. It is Very quiet, probably one of the quietest fans on the market. It has a 5 year warranty and that was one of the reasons i picked it up with everything seeming to be made from the cheapest plastics and components these days.. I ran it through the Killawatt and it pulls 41 watts with all three fans running. it pulls 12 watts with a single fan running. I'd say per volume of air moved, this is probably one of the more efficient fans on the market per watt. They claim 40% more air moved, and i do believe it.
