Great Service
We decided to purchase the Kirby cord from this vendor because the price was lower. I admit, we were very skeptical. We did not know what to expect. We are very pleased to say that the service we received and the cord both exceeded our expectations.
This is exactly what I wanted
I wanted the original cord - to match my kirby. The price was lower than a generic cord and it was mailed right out too. I was happy with the whole experience.
Better than origional
I was a bit upset at having to replace a main item on my G5, and a bit uneasy about the replacement cord (along with anything else) was just a part of planned obsolescence. When I changed the cord I compared them side by side. I would DEFINITELY rate the new/replacement as a lifetime rated cord. The strain relief is built right into the cord...the old, had no strain relief, and the cord was too easy to pull out of the plug. ( NOT that one should EVER pull on the "cord" to unplug, but, sometimes youngins don't do as they are told.) The new cord is built to handle those accidental mishaps.
