This tower fan is terrific
This fan works so well than I now have several tower fans.
1. This fan really cools well. It provides a column of fresh air, which is much more effective than a non-tower fan. I use my air conditioning system a lot less in the summer.
2. The fan is quiet, I have it blowing during the hot nights and even though I am a very light sleeper it does not bother me. The old fan bothered me with the little whirl sound it was making.
3. The fan is durable. After I had the first fan for a year I bought another one, and they are both still quiet and problem free with almost daily uses 9 months of the year.
4. The fan easy to dust. Plus there are no visible blades, so even if they are dusty inside you don't see them.
Overall, very pleased!
Love this fan!
After searching through the seemingly endless fans on Amazon, I decided on this one, based on the price and reviews. I was not disappointed! I love this fan. I bought it for my bedroom because for some reason our AC doesn't cool our bedroom very well. Now I'm thinking about buying one of these for every room and keeping the AC off! It is quiet, and really keeps us cool. I would definitely recommend this fan!
Also, it was easy to assemble, just a few screws to attach the base to the main unit and it was up and running.
Noisy after a while
Well, just like all the other reviews, the fan worked well for about a month and was quiet too. However, after a month of usage, the oscillation feature definitely became louder as it rattled while it turned. I'm using it for my toddler's bedroom, so she doesn't seem to mind the rattle. I bought this fan for the timer and remote control feature, so it's serving it's purpose.
I would look elsewhere if you're looking for a quiet oscillation fan for your bedroom.
