This part is an OEM replacement so it is a perfect fit and easy to install. No problems at all.
Replacement part for dish washer
Works great, easy to install. Hopefully this one will last beyond the last one.
Replaced the part for a Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher Quiet Partner III Top rack - seems to be a common problem with this dishwasher.
OEM Replacement
I don't know how you can give this a bad rating as it is a genuine OEM replacement. I know this, as I have many other appliances from Whirlpool and they all come with the same manufacturer's logo. So with any small part like this, it will come down to quality control during the time it was made, how much stress you apply to it and the others on the rack, and just wear and tear.
This is the first time I've had to replace such a part in any dishwasher I have owned. So saying it's a poorly made product is only opening the door to you having reservations against the maker or model of dishwasher you have. I only gave it four stars as it was difficult to install and I didn't find any literature on how to properly replace it, being such a simple part among all the other parts involved.
