Fixed the problem
I purchased this flow meter to replace the original one that came in my Whirlpool Duet front load washer that is 7 years old. The washing machine would stop working two minutes into the wash cycle and the error code "F/H" would flash on the screen. I was a little concerned that the quality would be subpar because this flow meter was under $15, where as every other place I saw it listed for more than twice that amount. The package arrived very quickly and the meter looked to be of the same quality as the one that came with the machine. It took two minutes and my machine was back up and running. There is a youtube video showing how to change the flow meter. There was a possibility that the inlet valve or pressure switch were causing the problem. I opted to try the flow meter first because it was the least expensive and I was right!
Fixed my problem on my Kenmore HE5T Steam washer.
This did the trick when my Kenmore complained of an F20 error.
The new part was white plastic, matching the old part exactly. Best of all, it worked.
If you're considering doing the fix yourself, just search YouTube for F20 error and Whirlpool Duet. There are dozens of really helpful videos showing how to open the machine, and what other places to check for issues, like socks clogging the pump, holes in air tubes from rubbing by the tub, or clothing in the rubber door seal not allowing the unit to drain.
